QBCFMonitorService is one such issue that takes place whenever you attempt to run the QuickBooks Database Server Manager to set up multi-user mode. You must have to fix this issue as soon as possible because it hampers your work. Go through the troubleshooting steps to resolve the error.
Solution 1: Verify QB Multi-User Hosting Set Up On the Server
From QB, select the File tab > Utilities > Multi-User Access. Proceed further by clicking on Yes, and then make sure that you are activating hosting only on the server. Now, verify that the Multi-User hosting is not running on any of the workstations. If you find it is running in multi-user mode, switch to single-user mode.
Solution 2: Restart QBCFMonitorService
To begin with, launch the Task Manager and select the Processes tab. Soon after this, right-click on the QBCFMonitorServices process and select the End Task option. Click the Yes option and launch the QuickBooks program once again.
